TL;DR — the verdict
Choose Statable if…
you want cookieless-only analytics hosted by a Dutch company, a longer 30-day trial, forever data retention, a GA4 importer, error tracking, or free analytics for an .edu or GitHub Pages site.
Choose VisitTrack if…
you sell online and want each payment credited to the referrer, campaign and landing page that earned it, your buyers often convert days after their first visit, or you want session replays and click heatmaps next to your traffic.
What is Statable?
Statable is a privacy-first web analytics tool from a Dutch company, positioned as the simple Google Analytics alternative and built for humans and AI agents. It is cookieless, hosted in the Netherlands, respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control by default, and says no consent banner is needed for analytics in most cases. Its script is about 2 KB.
Its standout feature is an MCP server: one OAuth sign-in connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex, and you choose whether the assistant may only read or may also configure tracking, goals and funnels. Statable also has goals, funnels, custom events, saved segments, Search Console, a GA4 importer, error tracking, embeddable widgets and a WordPress plugin. It launched on Product Hunt on October 2, 2026.

- Statable is free for .edu sites and sites on GitHub Pages or GitLab Pages. VisitTrack has no free plan, but a lifetime deal from $59 one-time.
What happens when a visitor comes back days later?
This is the biggest practical difference. Statable's maker explained it plainly on launch day: the visitor id is a hash that rotates every 24 hours, so someone who reads your blog on Monday and signs up on Thursday counts as two visitors, and the signup is credited to Thursday's source. That is the trade Statable made for being cookieless everywhere.
VisitTrack lets you choose per site. Standard mode keeps an anonymous first-party id, so Monday's referrer gets the credit. Hybrid mode is cookieless only for visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland and keeps multi-day journeys for everyone else. And in full cookieless mode, the script tells your page where the current visit came from, so your app can store that first touch at signup and hand it back to VisitTrack, without any cookie from us.
Can Statable show revenue by traffic source?
Not as a payment integration, as of October 2026. Statable tracks conversions as goals and custom events within a visit; its site doesn't document connecting Stripe or another payment provider. VisitTrack receives payments from Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Razorpay through verified webhooks, credits each to the visitor's first-touch referrer, campaign and landing page, and subtracts refunds. See revenue attribution.
MCP: how do the two AI integrations compare?
Both are real, two-way MCP servers. In both you connect with an OAuth sign-in and choose whether the assistant may change anything, and both let an assistant create goals and funnels from a sentence. VisitTrack's MCP can also query revenue and People, import historical events, and every change it makes lands in an audit log under Settings → Activity. VisitTrack also has a built-in assistant that answers across all your sites at once, and a REST API and CLI.

VisitTrack vs Statable: FAQ
Is VisitTrack a good Statable alternative?
Yes, if you need to see which channel brings paying customers. Both have an MCP server for AI agents; VisitTrack adds revenue attribution from five payment providers, multi-day attribution, replays and heatmaps. Statable is the better pick if you want cookieless-only analytics from an EU company with a free tier for .edu and GitHub Pages.
How much does Statable cost?
As of October 2026, Statable costs $9/month for 10k pageviews, $19 for 100k and $69 for 1M, with about 20% off yearly and a 30-day trial without a card. VisitTrack costs $5, $19 and $59 for the same volumes in events.
Does Statable track revenue from Stripe?
Statable's public site doesn't document a Stripe or payment-provider integration as of October 2026; it tracks conversions as goals and custom events. VisitTrack attributes Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Razorpay payments to their source.
Why does Statable count a returning visitor twice?
Its visitor id is a hash that rotates every 24 hours, which is how it stays cookieless, so a visit on Monday and a signup on Thursday look like two people. VisitTrack keeps the first touch in standard and hybrid modes, and offers a first-touch hand-off in cookieless mode.
Do both tools have an MCP server?
Yes. Both connect to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with an OAuth sign-in, can be read-only or allowed to configure goals and funnels. VisitTrack's MCP also covers revenue, People and historical imports.
Do I need a cookie banner with either?
Statable says no banner is needed for analytics in most cases. VisitTrack needs none in cookieless mode, and none for EU visitors in hybrid mode; its standard mode keeps a first-party id that generally needs consent in the EU.
Where is my data hosted?
Statable hosts data in the Netherlands. VisitTrack is a hosted service on EU infrastructure.
